Navid Nathoo is a Canadian entrepreneur who has dedicated his career to empowering young people to create a better future. He founded TKS in 2016, a human accelerator program that empowers young people to solve the world’s biggest problems using emerging technologies. Prior to TKS, he co-founded Airpost, an enterprise cloud security company based in Silicon Valley, which was acquired by Box (NYSE:BOX) in 2014.
At TKS, Navid is dedicated to helping young people develop skills in areas such as artificial intelligence, nanotechnology, and biotechnology, to name a few. The program is globally recognized and has been successful in nurturing the talents of young innovators. TKS alumni have gone on to build venture-backed companies, join disruptive companies (eg. SpaceX, Google, Neuralink), and are working towards making a positive impact on the world by addressing some of its most pressing challenges, such as climate change, healthcare, and social inequality.
Navid has lived around the world and worked on improving the quality of life for the bottom billion in countries including Bangladesh, Tajikistan, and Kenya. He’s passionate about making the world a better place by leveraging new technologies and sciences to solve global problems and create an exciting future.
