David has worked in sustainable investment for over 20 years, with most of that time at LSEG and FTSE Russell. He is responsible for driving strategic initiatives and partnerships across all LSEG group divisions, having previously led sustainable investment for FTSE Russell, and sustainable finance strategy for LSEG’s Data & Analytics division. David has held a variety of industry positions, including being a member of the European Commission’s High Level Expert Group (HLEG) on Sustainable Finance. He currently represents LSEG as a co-lead of the GFANZ workstream on Real-Economy Transition and as co-chair of the Transition Plan Taskforce delivery group workstream on sectoral guidance. He also Chaired the UN Sustainable Stock Exchange’s work developing both Model ESG and Climate Reporting Guidance. His career started with ADL’s Environment & Risk Practice, and PwC’s climate change consulting team.
