Dr Matthew Aruch, Director Indigenous Conservation Programs, International Conservation Fund of Canada
Dr Aruch is the Director of Indigenous Conservation Programs at the International Conservation Fund of Canada. Formerly, he was the Director of Global Education for EARTHDAY.ORG, where he led the organization's globally recognized environment and climate literacy campaigns and programs. Prior to joining EARTHDAY.ORG, he held positions as the Assistant Director of the College Park Scholars Science, Technology, and Society Program and Senior Lecturer in the A. James Clark Engineering School. A career educator, Dr Aruch has extensive experience working with organizations at the intersection of education and the environment, including the National Environmental Education Foundation and the InterAmerican Development Bank. He holds a PhD in International Education Policy from the University of Maryland College Park, as well as Masters degrees in International Education Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and Elementary Education from Mary Washington College.
