Dr Shrimali is a renowned expert in renewable energy finance and policy, serving as the Head of Transition Finance Research at the Oxford Sustainable Finance Group. He is also the Technical Lead in the Secretariat for the UK Transition Plan Taskforce and Visiting Scholar at the Center for Climate Finance and Investment at Imperial College London and the Singapore Green Finance Center at Singapore Management University. With a PhD from Stanford University, Dr Shrimali has an extensive research portfolio focusing on climate finance, net-zero transitions, and off-grid energy business models. He has also taught at esteemed institutions such as Johns Hopkins University, Middlebury Institute of International Studies, Indian School of Business, and the Indian Institute of Management. Prior to his academic career, he has nine years of industry experience in designing high-speed networking and computing systems.
