Dr Mangalagiu is Professor at the Environmental Change Institute, University of Oxford and Neoma Business School, France. With over two decades of experience in research, teaching, and advising on sustainability, long-term planning, and risk governance, Dr Mangalagiu is an expert in the integration of environmental and socio-economic policies in both corporate and public policy settings. She has authored numerous scientific articles and books in fundamental and applied areas and co-founded the Initiative for Science, Society and Policy Dialogue. She is also a scientific board member of several organizations, including the Global Climate Forum, International Science Council and Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services and has advised various governments, companies, and international organizations such as the World Bank, OECD, and UN agencies on strategy, foresight and sustainability.
