In partnership with The Amazon Protection Foundation a 501C3 certified foundation and MetAmazonia Project Management, headquartered in Dubai, UAE and the Brazilian Rainforest Conservation Company (EBCF), owner and manager of the largest Private Reserve for Sustainable Development in the entire Amazon Rainforest.

GITEX Impact has received an Impact Certification from the Amazon Protection and Foundation, recognizing our commitment to Amazon Rainforest Conservation and sustainable development of indigenous communities.

Notably, Metamazonia is giving away 250,000 NFTs, offering the chance to win prizes, including a trip to the Amazon, to those holding a GITEX Amazonian NFT. This is part of the “AMAZON PROTECTION FOUNDATION x METAMAZONIA (#ONETAPTOSAVETHEAMAZON) campaign, focused on climate change awareness and advocacy through innovative technology.

GITEX Impact is dedicated to the Amazon Rainforest Conservation and the sustainable development of its local traditional indigenous communities.

Key milestones in the mission:

1. Conservation of 50,000 Acres of Native Forest: Through GITEX Impact’s support, we will be able to continue preserving 50,000 acres of native forest in the Amazon, establishing the largest mosaic of Private Reserves for Sustainable Development in the entire Amazon Rainforest.
2. Protection of Biodiversity: Our efforts have resulted in the protection of over 430 native species of fauna and flora, ensuring the rich biodiversity of the region remains intact. 
3. Protection of Water Resources: GITEX Impact’s contributions will help to continue playing a pivotal role in the protection of 2 major rivers the “Madeira River and Manicore River” and more than 40 smaller rivers within our reserve, safeguarding these vital water resources for both the ecosystem and local communities. 
4. Development of Indigenous Communities: We are successfully operating development projects benefiting 15 indigenous communities, directly impacting the lives of approximately 450 families and 3,000 people. These projects encompass areas such as health, education, woman empowerment, income generation, and infra-structure development. 
5. CO2 Emission Reduction: Through our conservation efforts and sustainable land management practices, we are collectively reducing approximately 3 million tons of CO2 emissions, contributing to global climate change mitigation goals.
